Operated by the Bio-oriented Technology Research Advancement Institution (BRAIN), the Comprehensive Startup Support Program is an R&D initiative designed for those seeking to launch startups or scale up their businesses.
With hands-on guidance from program managers, the program supports the commercialization of advanced technologies to solve challenges and foster growth in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and food sectors.

Managing Director of Fortience Consulting Inc., with extensive consulting experience, a broad network across business and agriculture, and deep expertise in the agri-food sector. As Representative Program Manager, he leads commercialization support for the program.

Toyohashi University of Technology

Kotaro Takayama

Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology, with extensive experience in managing research projects, including those for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. As a founder of a university spin-off startup, he offers technical insights in agriculture and engineering with a focus on commercialization.
